كتاب التعريفات للجرجاني معجم يتضمن تحديد معاني المصطلحات المستخدمة في العلوم والفلسفة والمنطق واللغة والفنون والفقه خلال عصره. هو من أوائل المعاجم الذي له ترتيب أبجدي-استفاد من المعاجم اللغوية. صاحبه الجرجاني علي بن محمد بن علي الشريف الحسيني المعروف بسيد مير شريف، فلكي، عالم حياة وفقيه وموسيقي وفيلسوف، ولغوي توفي سنة [816هـ] هجرية.

المؤلف: علي بن محمد بن علي الزين الشريف الجرجاني (المتوفى: 816هـ).

المحقق: ضبطه وصححه جماعة من العلماء بإشراف الناشر.

Targif al-Taraj al-Jarjani A dictionary that includes the definition of the meanings used in science, philosophy, logic, language, arts and jurisprudence during his time. It is one of the first dictionaries which has an alphabetical order - it has benefited from the linguistic dictionaries. His companion was Ali bin Mohammed bin Ali al-Sharif al-Husseini, known as Sayyed Mir-Sharif, an astronomer, a life scientist, jurist, musician and philosopher, and a linguist who died in [816 AH].
